Great experience in Patras (Greece) for the second physical meeting of the PeneloPe European project. On June 15th and 16th, K-LOOPS met up the other partners of the PeneloPe Consortium at LMS (Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation) facilities. It has been a pleasure to visit their laboratories and know more about their studies on virtual and augmented reality applications linked to robot activities.
This second face-to-face meeting followed the one we had in Delft at the beginning of November, when PeneloPe consortium has been hosted by SAM|XL and TUD in Delft (Netherlands). That visit was very interesting too, since we had the chance to see the gantry robot system that will be used as a demonstrator for the aerospace Pilot Line, the use case in which we are involved.
These face-to-face meeting have been the occasion for all partners to discuss about the work done so far and to define common strategies to collaborate in the next months, since we are in the core period of the project and a lot is still to be done in terms of technology development and implementation.
